3 | Focus in the rain

The Samurai had Begun to get comfortable walking, sleeping, running, and living essentially on the water. Every day he awoke thinking wow I'm still out here, no land in sight, only water, and he that called him.

The Samurai built a house. He was given the tools and resources from the water to build this house as he built he gripped his Sword less and less... One day he went to walk and get to work. He felt his entire foot sink below the surface of the water he looked and cried allowed "My Lord!!!" In an instant, he was able to lift his leg out of the water. He assessed why this had happened and he realized his hands were not on his sword we had begun to try and live life on the water in his own ability... He learned that day he needs one hand gripped on his sword one hand doing the work of his Lord and his eye continuously fixed on him. The very next day Storms fell upon him and he was tempted by an unseen enemy. Worry and fear began to creep close to him he sat in a submitted posture head down asking his Lord, "Shall I strike?"

He heard nothing in reply and they crept closer and closer until he felt fear breathing on his neck causing his hair to stand and suddenly, his Lord said "Strike now!" With a swift two swipes from his sword, he vanquished worry and fear. He was almost surprised at how much power he exerted from a low position. When asking his Lord about it his reply was, "Had you struck earlier they would have easily moved and your heart would have been exposed. by waiting with expectation on my word, your power increases because you wait for my power to push you. I will always give you the power to overcome but you're only strong in me. Your prayer gave you the extra power and your humility and Obedience gave you the victory. Stay close and keep building they will send more but you will overcome." The Samurai obeyed his Lord and went to work he worked harder than before focusing on what he was building for more than what he was building.
